Our Company
Our history goes far back in time and specifically in 1948, when the founder Evangelos G. Katsikas inaugurated the store in Konistres, Evia with groceries, satisfying the needs of the local community. Four years later, in 1952, he took over the representation of BP GREECE LIMITED with liquid fuels & lubricants in Evia and the Sporades. Wanting to be on the front line next to the customer, he also establishes a gas station in the area of Konistra.
In 1956 he expanded his activities in the flour industry, being a representative of the company MYLOI OF AGIOS GEORGIOS SA in Evia and the Sporades. A few years later, in 1965 the company changed its legal form and was transformed into an GP under the name EVANGELOS KATSIKAS & SONS GP. A year later, the founder Evangelos Katsikas passed away and the company was renamed to KATSIKAS GEORGE & IOANNIS GP.
The following years found the company to increase the clientele not only within Evia but also in the prefecture of Viotia and in the Sporades, hiring sellers for the best customer service, as our main goal remains the high quality of products combined with good prices.
Arriving in 2000, the company MYLOI LOULI SA based in Volos acquired the MYLOI OF AGIOS GEORGIOS SA. Even today the cooperation with the company MYLOI LOULI SA continues. In 2002, another collaboration began with (EKO) Hellenic Fuel Minerals SA, being a customer of fuels and lubricants. Georgios Katsikas and Ioannis Katsikas passed away in 2005 and in 2013 respectively and the company was renamed into EVANGELOS, GEORGE & IOANNIS KATSIKAS GP.
The new decade begins with new collaborations in the field of lubricants and fuels. In 2009 a cooperation began with EMA SA and in 2012 with MYLOI Asopou SA and the ELPE group. Four years later, in 2016 a collaboration with Total Hellas SA began. The clientele in the lubricants and fuel sector contains industries, ready-mixed concrete, gas stations, car repair shops, etc. In 2019 he became an Elpedison representative in the sale of electricity. Listening to the needs of customers, the new eshop katsikas.gr is another means to communicate with them.
